Japanese Language and Culture Program to Preparefor University Study (“Bekka” Program)

International students wishing to proceed to a degree program at a university in Japan study Japanese language and culture in this one-year program.

Doshisha University Intensive Japanese Language Program “Bekka” was established in April 1999 with the aim of providing Japanese language education and understanding of Japanese culture to privately-financed international students who wish to enter a degree program at Doshisha or other universities and graduate schools in Japan. As the one-year program adopts the semester system, students can choose either the Spring Semester (April – September) or the Fall Semester (September – March) to start the program.

Doshisha University Intensive Japanese Language Program “Bekka” has stopped accepting applicants.
We are sorry that we will recruit no more candidates.
