Preparatory Educational Program

The Center for Japanese Language and Culture is accredited by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology as a "Designated Japanese-Language Training Institution" (institution for preparatory Japanese language training).

The "Designated Japanese-Language Training Institution" is an institution that provides six-month preparatory Japanese language training to the Japanese Government Scholarship recipients ※, whose initial Japanese skills were deemed insufficient by their university, before they begin their advanced education.

Accreditation of Doshisha therefore proves that the content and quality of the Japanese language education offered by our Center for Japanese Language and Culture have been fully recognized and guaranteed.
