Japanese Language and Culture Program

Program Guide for the Center for Global Education and Japanese Studies

There are two courses, “Intensive Course” for students who wish to focus on learning Japanese language and “Elective Course” for students for whom learning Japanese is not the main purpose. Japanese Language Courses are divided into 9 levels based on student’s Japanese ability, which allows students to learn at their appropriate level and in accordance with the purpose of their study in Japan. 
The Lecture Courses in Japanese Studies and International Studies are aimed to deepen understanding of Japanese culture and society, and to promote international understanding.
In these courses, there are courses offered in English, Chinese and Korean as well as courses where both Japanese and international students study together in the same classroom about Japanese culture, tradition and history.
In addition to the above, a wide range of courses are available for students to choose from, including subjects aimed at preparing for qualification tests and business Japanese.
