Registration Guide for Japanese Language and Culture Subjects for International Students

Eligible Undergraduate/Graduate International (Regular, Special) Students
Students whose ID number start with other than 2992, 2990 or 2991

“Japanese Language and Culture Subjects” are divided into 3 course groups, Japanese Language Courses, Lecture Courses in Japanese Studies and Lecture Courses in International Studies.
Japanese Language Courses are divided into 9 levels based on student’s Japanese ability, which allows students to learn at their appropriate Japanese level.
In Lecture Courses in Japanese Studies and International Studies, courses on Japanese art, history, society, etc. are offered to deepen understanding of Japanese culture and society, and to promote international understanding.
Also, some of these courses are offered to promote Japanese culture overseas and to facilitate international mutual understanding where both Japanese and international students study together in the same classroom about Japanese culture, tradition and history.
